Emergency systems
Ambulances and other emergency systems are usually called upon to respond to unpredictable and uncertain situations in which the attendants and the public may be at risk of contacting biological and chemical agents. Presently, they have no means of verifying the conditions of the very environments they are to protect, improve or securely control.
Fire Departments
Firemen are at an even greater risk than ambulance and emergency system workers. They selflessly enter into situations without the capacity to assess the environment. In certain countries of Europe, firemen also are called upon to perform first aid duties similar to ambulance attendants.
Hospitals
Hospitals are most vulnerable to expose their patients as well as their extremely valuable resources, doctors and nurses. At present, they are limited by precautionary measures and procedures to minimize and prevent disasters. Alert B&CTM's solutions will put them on a proactive footing.
Police Departments
Police are often the first called to respond to emergency situations that may later require the services of ambulances and/or fire departments. They are not at all equipped to assess the environment for biological or chemical contaminants
Traffic Control
Major accidents or unpredictable terrorist events require immediate assessment and appropriate control of crowds. Major cities lack the equipment to assess biological or chemical threats in oder to formulate a quick and appropriate response. |
